What are the options you have to personalize your sculpture, and what can you expect in the (near) future from us.

Options

Colors
We offer a selection of light and mat colors. Glossy or darker colors tend to eliminate shadows which makes the statue come to life. If you study well the lighting of the statue however, other options can be interesting too.

Shapes
We focus on faces, and therefore buste-like shapes. We offer 3 different standard options: a flat based buste, a suspended buste and a roman style buste. Other shapes or scans are possible on request, but require to be discussed case-by-case.

Quality

Quality of the model
The quality of the model is determined by the details that are captured during the scan. To ensure you are satisfied with the model, you will be able to review it on your nexum account. If this is not 100% matching your expectations, we will see together how to improve the model quality. Small fixes can be made by our 3d artists directly. In extreem cases, we might need to repeat the scan procedure. We will only produce the statue once you are satisfied.

Quality of the statue
During manufacturing proces, the model is transformed into a physical object. Due to production techniques, there will always be some imperfection in the result. For example, 3d prints can have visible layer lines. From a normal viewing distance, these imperfections are not noticable. These limitations of the production technique are unavoidable. We are studying new and improved techniques and will offer new options and materials in the future. They will probably come at different price ranges, as other manufacturing techniques tend to be more resource intensive.

What’s next?

Products
We offer a selection of light and mat colors. We believe the statues are more lively this way instead of using glossy or darker colors, as the shadows are what makes the statue live. If you however study the lighting of the statue, other options can be interesting too.
